Home0001’s newly-built 3-story townhouses in Echo Park can each be configured with either three bedrooms or an office and / or a gym—and each home has its own 2-car garage. 

From furniture to cookware, linens to gym equipment, and pantry essentials to houseplants, each townhouse comes fully equipped with everything you need, ready from day one.

Developed in collaboration with world-renowned architects, every single thing in a 0001 home is thoughtfully designed with a focus on simplicity and functionality, so homebuyers can literally move in with nothing.

0001 homes are designed as an improvisation on somewhat 

 of constructivist architecture, each built out with custom fitted industrial components and bespoke modular furniture, prioritizing multi-functional utility and flexibility over time. Every home features artworks by internationally recognized artists, as well as pieces by New Tendency and Moroso, and contributions from a number of other leading designers, including ceramics by Hasami, bedding by Tekla, lighting by Flos, and audio equipment by Teenage Engineering.

The first step to owning a 0001 home is to join the HOME0001 housing collective. Members have collective access to shared resources, including places to stay around the world, design expertise, and community events. Membership can be purchased with a one-time joining fee, and 0001 homes are released exclusively to members of the collective.

When you buy an 0001 home, you own the title on your individual home in the traditional way (so you can qualify for a regular mortgage). It's not a timeshare or a rental—it's exactly like owning any other home. We guide you through the purchase process, from choosing the right home, to obtaining financing, to moving in and getting to know your neighbors. Selling directly to our community without expensive brokers’ fees means that we can put everything into creating an extraordinary experience for homebuyers – with access to 0001 homes in other locations and beautifully designed interiors at no additional cost.

Each 0001 home is a node in an expanding network. Homeowners get free access to homes in other locations, so you can spend time in other places as often as you like and make your home available to other members of the collective while you’re away. You’ll pay one cleaning fee each time and no nightly rate. Each 0001 home has plenty of secure storage. We take care of the practicalities and keep additional homes in each location for extra flexibility.

You own your home. You're in control. If you don’t want your place to be available to other 0001 homeowners while you’re away, that’s fine—you just won’t be able to make use of other 0001 homes during that time. You’re also free to rent out your home (in accordance with local laws and building rules). And you can sell your home however you like, whenever you like—you own the title. Work with a broker of your choice or use our resale service to simplify the process.

Home0001's community is built on collaboration. From prioritizing new locations and proposing amenities and features, to shaping our events program in each city, members can contribute to the evolution of the collective through discussions both online and over dinner in each of our locations.
